Introduction

Before you book a table at ROKS we recommend you read the following information:

We know that many people now choose to follow a vegetarian or vegan diet. However, we hope that you will understand that due to our geographical location in the North Atlantic ROKS does not have access to a broad variety of vegetables for a good part of the year.

We endeavor to use locally sourcedsustainably produced ingredients and the whole dining experience at ROKS has been created as a uniquely Faroese event. Each dish is carefully designed by our chefs and the tasting menu is curated to produce an extremely varied range of flavoursscents and colours.

We are a small restaurant with a special culinary range and we hope you will understand that we cannot offer an á la carte menu of any description.

For this reason, it is not possible for us to offer vegetarian or vegan option.

Please note that our biggest table is for 10 people. Send an email to roks@roks.fo to request a booking.

If you wish to edit or cancel your reservation, please let us know no later than 48 hours before your table booking.

To reduce the number of no-shows, we kindly ask you to register a payment card when making a table reservation.

Please note that no money will be charged at the time of registration.

If you wish to cancel your reservation, you can do so free of charge up to 48 hours in advance. After this, a fee of 350 DKK per guest will be charged to cover the reserved seating.

WINE TAKE OVER við Weingut Odinstal á ROKS!

25-04-2025
This year’s second Wine Take Over features winemaker Andreas Schumann, who leads the wine production at the renowned Weingut Odinstal.

Odinstal is located in Wachenheim, Pfalz, one of the largest wine regions in Germany. While red sandstone is predominant in Pfalz, Odinstal stands out with its unique volcanic soil, rich in basalt and red clay – a distinctive characteristic reflected in their wines. The winery follows biodynamic practices and produces wines from grape varieties such as Riesling, Sylvaner, Gewürztraminer, and various Pinot types.

Odinstal has long been a staple on the wine list at ROKS. Karin Visth, sommelier and wine director at the restaurant, shares her thoughts:
"When I visited Odinstal, I truly understood the impact that soil and organic viticulture have on the wine. I find that incredibly fascinating!"

A specially curated ROKS menu will be served, paired with five different wines from Weingut Odinstal.

Location: ROKS
Date: April 25, at 18:30
Price: 1,750 DKK per person
